Not to be confused with Orchard Boulevard
Orchard is an underground station on the North South Line. It serves Orchard Rd, a road full of shopping malls like Orchard@313 and Lucky Plaza.
History[]
From 1967 to to 1982, Orchard was named 'Scotts' at first, then renamed to 'Orchard Boulevard'. In 1985, it was named Orchard. Due to popularity, many exits were built and many places had to be moved due to this. In 2021, Orchard will connect with the Thomson-East Coast Line, as part of Phase 3, from Mount Pleasant to Gardens by the Bay.
